WM Berg manufactures cylindrical roller thrust bearings with a carbon steel cage, chrome steel rollers and 1074 steel bearing washers. Roller thrust bearings support heavy axial loads and impact loads, but have no radial load carrying capabilities. The flat race bearing allows some amount of rotating shaft eccentricities. Roller thrust bearings have a much greater axial load capacity than ball bearings, and are ideal for low or medium-speed applications like extruders, pumps or rotary work tables.
